The Llyn Peninsula extends 30 miles into the Irish Sea and historically it was used by pilgrims travelling to Bardsey Island. There is a lot to do and see, Criccieth is a great base with Victorian terraces and a castle whilst Abersoch and Pwllheli attract all the yachts and sailors. Water activities are based around the peninsula with excellent surfing in the right conditions.

Llanbedrog Beach is one of the calmest in Wales, a mile long and perfect for families as is Porth Neigwi which attracts surfers and at 4 miles long there is more than enough room for everyone.
