Hayling Island is one of Hampshire’s best-loved, unspoilt beach locations on the South Coast. Hayling Seafront is primarily a shingle beach, with long stretches of sand below the high tide line. Brilliant for all water sports and a mecca for kite surfers, windsurfers, and foil boarders. On Hayling there is something for everyone to do! A 2-mile narrow gauge seaside light railway, a funfair, the Hayling WWII Heritage Trail, seaside walks, pubs, restaurants, and shops. Along with a theatre, Alpacas, and a donkey sanctuary. There are 3 marinas, Hayling Island sailing club and Hayling Island yacht club. Hayling boasts one of the top one hundred links golf courses in England (Hayling Golf Club), as well as a family friendly ‘Beachlands’ pitch and putt par 3 course and ‘Tournerbury golf centre’ an intermediate course.
Further afield, get the ferry across to Portsmouth with waterside dining, designer outlets, HMS Victory and the Mary Rose Museum, pop over to the Isle of Wight or visit Goodwood for the Festival of Speed or the Goodwood revival.
