Achintee Cottage No.1 is a beautifully presented cottage, situated directly at the foot of Ben Nevis with stunning views of Glen Nevis, just a short drive from Fort William town centre. Conveniently all on the ground floor, Achintee Cottage has everything a couple will need for a fantastic Highland break, it’s a great space to relax and unwind in. There is a large open plan kitchen, living and dining space and the bedroom is a spacious double with en-suite shower room. Private off-street parking is located directly outside in the garden area and there is a secure store for bikes and other outdoor equipment.
Although set in a peaceful location, local amenities in Fort William town centre and Nevis Range Mountain Resort are only a short drive away, where you will find shops, cafés, restaurants, bars and tourist attractions. Ben Nevis is the UK’s biggest mountain, and the start of the Ben Nevis foot path is only a few minutes’ walk from the front door. You are within a couple of miles’ drive from the Nevis range where you can access the Aonach Mhor mountain range and many mountain sports. Lochaber is renowned for its spectacular beauty, with wild mountains, coastal and inland lochs and clean white beaches. Wildlife abounds, from red deer to otter, golden eagle to minke whale, and whether you are here to walk or climb the hills, fish the lochs, play golf on beautifully situated courses or simply tour the area on quiet, empty roads, you can be assured that there is no friendlier place to do it.
Local transport links including train and bus stations are only a short 5-minute walk.
