The town is steeped in history with some of the oldest architecture on the island, which is very evident as you explore the sights. The Grade II listed pier boasts great views across The Solent, and is also known locally for being an ideal spot for fishing. This is a bustling town all year round with a varied range of shops and an array of eateries and pubs. Further afield is an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty which includes The Needles, the stunning coloured sands at Alum Bay plus miles of outstanding scenery along the coast. Beach ½ mile. Shop, pub and restaurant 175 yards.
