Albion Cottage the perfect holiday home to welcome guests on an unforgettable stay in glorious Whitby. At the front you have the driveway, with an enclosed garden circling the property, at the front of the garden you have sea views from the patio, with a seating area perfect for taking in the views. The back garden looks directly onto the golf course which welcomes guests to play a round whilst taking in the panoramic cliff top scenery. Stepping inside there is a conservatory at the rear of the property looking out onto the garden, with a sofa to unwind on. The shaker style kitchen is very well equipped. The garage attached to the house is perfect for storage for motor bikes, bicycles, surf boards and other outdoor equipment.
You are within easy walking distance of the many attractions in this gorgeous coastal town. Whitby was inspiration for Bram Stoker’s Dracula, and there is a dark side - with ghost walks to both fright and delight. The wonderful Goth Festival takes place twice a year. There are other festivals such as the Folk Festival, Whitby Regatta and the Steam Punk Weekend. With many award-winning restaurants, old pubs and tea rooms, a colourful harbour and a glorious long golden beach, this is a great place for all interests and ages. Other hidden gems include Runswick Bay, Saltburn-by-the-Sea and Robin Hood’s Bay, each has its own story of pirates and smuggling to tell. There are an abundance of walks and cycle tracks for ramblers and cyclists to take advantage of, including the Cleveland Way along the cliff tops, as well as the Esk Valley and its stunning scenery, best enjoyed from the windows of the steam train that travels right into the heart of the North York Moors National Park from Whitby to Pickering. Your well-behaved dogs are welcome to join you, they are sure to be in heaven exploring the beaches, and there are an abundance of dog friendly cafés and pubs to choose from. Beach within ⅓ mile.
