There are three golf courses available locally and many opportunities for a spot of fishing. Argyll Forest is on the doorstep and has numerous forest tracks, marked walks, cycle ways and wonderful waterfalls to explore.
Take a drive to the beautiful village of Tighnabruaich, with its stunning views over the loch to the Kyles of Bute. Portavadie Marina is just a short drive onwards with a restaurant and spa facilities, which is open to non residents. The ferry to Tarbert can also be taken from Portavadie to explore the beautiful Kintyre Peninsula.
