Granary Cottage at Amroth Cottages is perched high above the cliffs of the beautifully dramatic Pembrokeshire coastline, with uninterrupted views over Amroth, the Gower and the Carmarthen Bay. Set within the grounds of the owners home, alongside one other holiday cottages (Stable Cottage ref UK10694) and (Seaview Cottage ref UK44707), itt has a private hot tub (by prior arrangement with owner), so why not sit back and relax with a glass of wine and star gaze whilst soaking in the hot tub? Granary Cottage is perfect for families and couples alike, with two lovingly presented bedrooms on the first floor, both of which enjoy direct sea views to wake up to. This traditional, stone-built, detached cottage boasts a large decked area in front, perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine whilst you take in the views out across the ocean towards the Gower. The open plan living space is full of character and charm with exposed beams, stone walls and even a wood burner to relax in front of after a busy day sightseeing.
Stroll into the coastal hamlet of Amroth and discover the local seafront pubs specialising in fresh, line caught fish and locally sourced produce, and not forgetting some locally brewed ales. There is also an array of cafés, stunning sandy beach, ideal for children to play and build sand castles, and water sports with kayaking, sailing and surfing all on your doorstep. Locally there are a host of walks to discover including the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park footpath, which covers 186 miles of iconic Welsh coastline.
Be sure to explore the 9 acres of grounds around the cottage which include lots of grassed areas for playing ball games and wildlife to keep an eye out for. Locally, the National Trust managed Colby Woodland gardens really is worth a visit. Wander through the vast gardens within the hidden valley, take in the flora and fauna and uncover the secret garden, but be sure to keep an eye out for the array of wildlife. A little further along is the coastal resort of Saundersfoot and then the famous walled town of Tenby which really are worth a visit. Beach 800 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 800 yards.
