Four of the cottages Annexe 1 (UK44935), Annexe 2 (UK44936), Annexe 3 (UK44937) and Annexe 4 (UK44940) are designed to sleep two people, making them ideal for couple retreats or a peaceful solo escape. Annexe 5 (UK44939) is a family sized cottage sleeping up to four guests and this cottage has the added bonus of being pet-friendly, ensuring that your furry family members can join in on the holiday fun too. The cottages have private parking for up to two cars and a communal courtyard set with garden furniture, giving you a perfect place for you to sit back and relax after a day exploring this lovely part of County Durham.

Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the city is filled with a variety of historic sites and popular visitor attractions that are centuries old. Durham Castle and cathedral must be visited to appreciate the awe-inspiring architecture. The Gala Theatre is in the centre of the city, packed with top quality restaurants, bistros, cafés and bars. Durham is a thriving city with plenty of entertainment at any time of the year. The incredible Lumiere Festival takes place every second November, enjoy the jazz festival, arts festival, Miners Gala, and many more free attractions, as well as the weekly farmers’ market.
