Derwentwater offering sailing and other watersports is just 2 miles away. If you like culture check out the Theatre By The Lake, 2 miles away, with award winning arts and drama on the banks of Derwentwater where you can hire a rowing boat or even take a dip. Of course the bustling town of Keswick is just 1½ miles away which is an easy walk or a short 5 minute taxi ride if you want to leave the car behind and head out for a meal and a few drinks.
