A beautiful conservation village nestled in the Perthshire hills. Your Gateway to the Highlands and a paradise for outdoor lovers. The location boasts, a quick walk to local restaurants such as a coffee shop, deli, fruit/veg shop, award-winning butcher, gift shops, pubs and grocery shops. Yet is completely secluded, surrounded by stunning woodland; it’s peaceful and hidden!
The private, steep, woodland drive makes this a perfect romantic get-away, or an exciting adventure for those wanting to get away from life’s hustle and bustle. The incline is accessible by all cars and small vans.
Great base for walks from the doorstep and local bike hire with great paths to follow. Families will love also a trip to Auchingarrich Wildlife Centre, home to a variety of exotic and more familiar wildlife. Take a day trip to the city of Perth and the newly opened museum, housing the Stone of Destiny. Or try the famous Scone Palace and enjoy a stroll along the River Tay.
The cottage retains much of its original character and has a wonderfully secluded feel, set on high ground and surrounded by nature and an abundance of birds, red squirrel, pheasants, deer and wildlife. Outside there’s a woodland and spacious garden, although you may find it hard to tear your eyes from the stunning views! The outdoor firepit is memorising on a clear night with the twinkly stars. Ardross welcomes well behaved dogs!
