Arran View is a third floor holiday apartment, refurbished in 2022. It is set in a glorious waterfront location in Lochgilphead, mid-Argyll and enjoys magnificent views over the loch. Arran View is a wonderful hideaway for friends and families to unwind in whilst exploring Scotland’s spectacular west coast. The two-bedroom apartment offers comfortable living and spectacular far-reaching sea views over Loch Gilp and Loch Fyne. On clear days there are even views across to Arran. The living room is spacious and bright, an inviting space with comfortable leather sofas to sink into where you will be wowed by the breathtaking views whilst relaxing with a glass of wine and watching the ever-changing vistas. The living space includes a dining table seating four, and for entertainment there is free Wi-Fi and a Smart TV. The well-equipped kitchen features all the modern appliances needed for cooking up a feast with delicious local produce on your doorstep. There are also two well-furnished bedrooms - a master double bedroom showcasing the stunning sea views, and a spacious twin bedroom. The family bathroom features a shower over the bath.
Nearby is the main street of Lochgilphead where you will find the local welcoming pubs, shops and cafés. Lochgilphead golf course is only 2 miles from the apartment, and Arran View is an ideal base providing great access to sea and freshwater fishing. The village of Lochgilphead also lies on the banks of the famous Crinan Canal. Just a 5-minute walk away you can discover the Crinan Canal meandering through stunning scenery, a wonderful waterway waiting to be explored by canoe or kayak, and is also popular with walkers and cyclists. The canal stretches from Ardrishaig all the way to Crinan, out to the Atlantic West Coast.
The beautiful islands of Arran, Islay, Gigha and Jura are easily accessible from nearby ferry ports. Head south and visit Tarbert, and the Mull of Kintyre with white sandy beaches and magnificent golf courses, or north to Kilmartin Glen steeped in history and archeological sites. Campbeltown Distillery, Inveraray Castle and Inveraray Jail also make for great days out. It’s also an easy day trip to Oban, one of the seafood capitals of Scotland. Beach 100 yards.
