The living area is open plan, taking in the best of the views, with comfy sofa and chairs and a feature fire. The dining area has a smart table and four leather chairs. The kitchen is fully equipped perfect for cooking up a storm. There are two bedrooms, the main bedroom has a double bed and en-suite toilet. The second bedroom is a twin. The shower room has a shower cubicle and toilet. This property is presented in immaculate condition with smart bedding and towels.
Balagan Lodge is 2½ miles from Culloden Battlefield, which brought an end to the Jacobite rising in 1746, it has an on-site museum and you can walk the battlefield. The property is perfect for Outlander fans, as scenes from the series were filmed in the area. Also within easy reach is the pre-historic site of Clava Cairns. Inverness is the capital of the Highlands and has something for everyone, four golf courses, fishing, walking, water sports, a varied selection of local shops, cafés, bars and restaurants. For a family break there is the Aquadome, trampoline park, cinema and Eden Court Theatre. The property is close to the A96 taking you to Nairn where there is a sandy beach and an array of restaurants, cafés and bars. Why not take a trip to Loch Ness by car or a boat trip and experience the amazing scenery of the area and maybe spot Nessie our world-famous Loch Ness Monster.
