A quaint, quirky cottage in the simply gorgeous village of Sheet, on the edge of the historic market town of Petersfield. Barbury Cottage is the perfect getaway for a couple or a small family, looking for that break in the countryside. Barbury Cottage sleeps 4 in its two upstairs bedrooms. With a cosy living room with wood burner, you’ll be snug as a bug in any season. With an outdoor tap, stairgate, and a back garden gate that opens directly onto a park, Barbury Cottage is ideal for dogs. There’s also a utility space near the back door with washing machine which is helpful for getting the family more presentable for that pub dinner.
Talking of pubs, the local pub is a stone’s throw from the back garden gate. You’ll have no difficulty (or hazards!) getting home, even after a couple of well-earned drinks. Locally you’re spoilt for choice. Petersfield, only a short drive away, has shops, restaurants for all tastes, the South Downs National Park has all the outdoor pursuits you could want. For those looking for the sea, the stunning beaches of the Witterings are only a 30-minute drive away.
