Bayview Cottage is a beautifully appointed renovated holiday cottage on the shorefront of Plockton Bay in the village of Plockton. The cottage offers spacious, bright, comfortable living and stunning views of the village, Loch Carron and the mountains beyond from the upper floor living areas and front garden on the shoreline and water’s edge. There is also a decking area on the upper floor where you can relax and enjoy garden views and the peace and quiet. The cottage is centrally located within the National Trust for Scotland Conservation village of Plockton, regarded by many as the most attractive village in the west Highlands with its palm trees, yachts moored in the bay, and surrounding mountains. Plockton is an area with interests for everyone. Locally landed seafood and Plockton brewed ale can be enjoyed all year round in several nearby award-winning inns and restaurants. Spectacular walking, hiking and mountain biking can be explored, from low-level coastal walks, to trails up many of the surrounding Munros. Enjoy a day on Loch Carron amongst the seals, otters and birdlife, with boat trips, fishing, sailing and kayaking available locally. The cottage is an excellent base to tour the surrounding area, with the Isle of Skye, Applecross, Kintail and Glenelg only a short drive. Visit the attractions and historic sites of Eilean Donan Castle, the Cuillin Mountains, Attadale Gardens, Talisker Distillery, Kinloch Lodge, Glenelg Brochs, Dunvegan Castle and the Five Sisters of Kintail.
