The town has lots of restaurants, cafés, shops and a large supermarket, as well as train and bus stations. Scarborough and Bridlington are just a short drive away, and if you prefer to travel on local transport you can catch the bus to either resort from just outside the property. The RSPB bird sanctuary at Bempton Cliffs is a few minutes drive, here you will find thousands of migrating birds perched on the cliff sides. The puffins attract many a tourist every year.
