Mawgan Porth has a small supermarket/deli for essentials, a newsagent, surf store and surf school. Nearby there is also a farm that sells free range eggs. In terms of food and drink, there is a family friendly pub with large beer garden and play area, and a family friendly bistro serving locally caught fish, burgers and pizzas. Not to get The Scarlet Restaurant, headed up by a Michelin award-winning chef, just down the road.

The beach has plenty of rock pools to explore and sand dunes, whilst the dramatic cliffs provide a picturesque backdrop.
