A contemporary-styled and spacious, first floor holiday apartment in a central location, which enjoys beach views from the living room and bedrooms. From the open plan living/dining room you can watch the tides roll in and with the beach located opposite you could be soaking up the sun all day on the golden sands or in the dunes, then enjoying the spectacular sunset over Cardigan Bay. The apartment is also pet and smoke free, so great for guests with allergies.
As well as a central location with views, this lovely holiday home is only a minute’s walk from Barmouth town centre with its shops, good pubs and eateries, plus the railway station. There is no designated parking but guests have use of a parking permit and the main town car park is just 200 yards. Even in high season there is usually no problem parking close by.
For those with families, miles of sweeping sandy beaches await you, or perhaps you could explore nearby Harlech Castle, a World Heritage Site. If you’re into cycling or horse riding there are numerous scenic places to ride and the internationally famous mountain biking centre at Coed-y-Brenin just 20 minutes away. This is a walkers’ paradise with the Mawddach Trail and Taith Ardudwy Way very close by. For those seeking something a little more of a challenge, Cader Idris lies at the head of the Mawddach Estuary, and Snowdon can be reached in less than an hour. If you’re not the active type, then how about a ride on the Cambrian Coast railway, one of the UK’s most scenic railway routes all the way along this glorious coastline or maybe one of the famous narrow-gauge steam railways that proliferate in this corner of Wales?
