Beech Lodge is a wonderful single storey annex accommodating two guests. Set within 5 acres of idyllic grounds and forms part of a charming period property that dates from the 1800’s. This rural beauty is set back from a country lane within the rural hamlet of Berrow offering far reaching views of the gardens and countryside beyond. All set on one level, you enter into the cosy living room, with comfy seating and dining area. There is a compact kitchen featuring an electric hob and combination oven/microwave, along with a fridge/freezer for chilling a bottle of bubbles or two. The master suite comes complete with a double bed and modern shower room.
Outside you have full use of the owners’ shared grounds. A large lawn is adorned with shrubs and flowering plants makes for a relaxing spot during spring summer. There is seating and disposable BBQ for those summer nights when only dining alfresco will do. Beyond your lovely abode, there is plenty to explore by foot, bike or car.
Within a short drive or adventurous walk or cycle you can reach are Ledbury (6 miles) a charming market town with lots of black and white timber-framed houses and a plethora of independent shops. Malvern, 8½ miles, with its ancient iron-age hill-forts, the Morgan Motor Factory, Elgar’s Birthplace Museum. In Malvern you will find many shops, bars and restaurants to frequent also, as well a Theatre features many touring West End Shows throughout the year. As an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty be sure to plan a walk upon the Malverns. Also worth a visit is Tewkesbury, 9 miles and Gloucester, 14 miles.
