This delightful, single-storey cottage is one of three in a hillside location in Eryri National Park (formerly Snowdonia), with lovely views overlooking the Machno Valley. There are walks from the door directly into Gwydyr Forest and direct off-road access to the Penmachno Mountain Bike Trails. The Marin Bike Trail is also nearby. The village pub and shop are within walking distance and there is a wide selection of places to eat in nearby Betws-y-Coed.
Further afield, the former slate mining town of Blaenau Ffestiniog is an adrenaline junkie’s delight with the amazing Bounce Below where you can bounce on trampoline nets deep underground in an old slate cavern, or Zipworld Titan – the largest zip wire complex in the world! Yr Wyddfa (formerly Snowdon), the tallest mountain in Wales, just 25 minutes away. The famous Bodnant Gardens (National Trust) are also within easy reach, as are numerous castles, Victorian Llandudno, and the historic town of Conwy on the North Wales coast.
