Bird Barn is tucked away in the sought after village of Scottow, in an ideal and central location to explore Norfolk’s amazing coastline and the famous Norfolk Broads. Excellent walking and cycling can be enjoyed from doorstep with designated footpaths, trails and quiet country lanes surrounding the property. Wroxham, known as the capital of the Norfolk Broads, is 4½ miles away, with daily boat hire, river trips, riverside restaurants, cafés and shops. Wroxham Barns has a café and stalls offering handmade pottery, crafts, delicatessen, children’s play area and small farm animal petting area. BeWILDerwood at Horning is also a must for families. Coltishall is 3 miles away with a selection of shops and riverside pubs. The market town of North Walsham is 4 miles for shops, cafés and restaurants. The Norfolk sandy beaches can be found at Mundesley and Happisburgh (10 miles) and Bacton, Walcott and Sea Palling (12 miles).
