Blackberry Barn is a newly converted, former apple store, in the heart of the Kent countryside, often referred to as the Garden of England!
The barn is in a beautiful secluded spot, surrounded on three sides by orchards, and sits on the edge of a green belt area. Blackberry Barn sits in an elevated position above the village of Loose and enjoys far-reaching views across the county to the North Downs. The barn has been converted to the highest standard and boasts a romantic master bedroom with an oversized chandelier. There is a sumptuous Emma mattress on the king-sized bed and a remote-controlled blackout blind at the window. The bathroom has a large walk-in power shower. There is both a rain and wall-fixed shower head and a heated towel rail for your comfort. The spacious open-plan living area has a vaulted ceiling and amazing views across to the north downs. The space contains a dining table with four chairs as well as a relaxing space to watch the Smart TV. Upstairs is an area to relax on the beautifully decorated mezzanine level. The stunning glass balcony looks over the main living area and also provides a vista out of the double-height windows to the beautiful scenery that surrounds the barn. The open-plan mezzanine level also contains two full-sized single beds. The generous kitchen has hand-painted units and granite worktops and a featured solid wood breakfast bar. To the outside of the Barn, there is parking for two vehicles. There is a patio area directly off of the main living space with an outdoor table and seating for four. There is also a covered, secluded feature seating area that contains a firepit and overlooks the orchards and amazing views beyond.
A short five-minute stroll down the hill and into Loose Village, you will find a quaint 17th-century pub on the edge of a stunning natural stream. The pub serves food from breakfast to dinner and comes highly recommended. There is also a fish and chip shop within walking distance and several other great pubs in the local vicinity. There is an abundance of wonderful walks and cycle paths right on the doorstep of Blackberry Barn and attractions such as Leeds Castle, Bedgebury Pinetum, and Balfour vineyards located very nearby.
Maidstone itself has a wealth of historic buildings worth exploring, not to mention river boat trips and stunning parks along with the usual shopping, cinema, and leisure facilities you would expect in a county town. Being in the centre of Kent, the barn is also a great location to explore the south-east’s coastline.
