Nestling within a quiet area of Polruan, an unspoilt, ancient village protected by blockhouses just across the harbour from beautiful Fowey. Polruan has a general store, post office, bakery, church and two pubs. Blackhall provides superbly comfortable accommodation for six guests, where a holiday requiring relaxation is the order of the day. From here marvel at the panoramic and atmospheric coastal views and venture along the South-West Coast Path, adjacent to the property, showcasing splendid vistas as you walk to the legendary and very pretty village of Polperro, once famed for its links to smuggling and wrecking.
There is a passenger ferry daily to Fowey, where narrow streets, pubs and restaurants snuggle side by side with boutique shops and superb architecture. Stroll down to Readymoney Cove, a delightful beach of golden sand. This area is steeped in history and is swathed in countless shades of turquoise, greens and blues from both woodland and waterside combined. Blackhall is a bright, airy and welcoming holiday haven, comprising a lovely living space with cosy, inviting soft furnishings and sea views; a well-equipped kitchen with ample space for preparing any meal and a conservatory, complete with full size dining table and chairs providing the ideal place to enjoy your meal as you look seaward.
There are three roomy bedrooms, two doubles and one single room and a family bathroom. The garden is mainly lawned with mature plants and bushes, expelling splashes of colour. The views here are exhilarating, the famous sunsets exquisite. Due to the lack of light pollution, the night skies reveal the full expanse of the Milky Way, spiral galaxies and on moonlit nights, this becomes a truly special place indeed and one with lasting memories. The property will appeal to those requiring a quiet and relaxing holiday far from the madening crowd.
