There are beach cafes, restaurants and fish restaurants, and water sports are available on many of the beaches.

The main bustling town and harbours of Falmouth is just minutes away, with its prestigious marinas attracting some of the world’s leading racing yachts and ocean going vessels. The port of Falmouth is the third deepest natural harbour in the world. The town has an excellent choice of restaurants, bistros, tea rooms, cafés and pubs. Events Square is home to the National Maritime Museum with various events throughout the year, including the lively Sea Shanty week, Oyster Festival and food and music festivals.

Falmouth has a multi screen cinema, theatre, bowling, golf course and cycle hire with a number of old tram line cycle trails running from the south coast across to the north coast.
Take the train from Falmouth to the cathedral city of Truro to experience great shops, markets, cinema and theatre with a great selection of restaurants and pubs serving great food.

Water taxis will take you across the estuary to St Mawes and the riverside village of Flushing, or take one of the local boats to explore the beautiful River Helford and creeks. Enjoy a thrilling Sea Safari to watch dolphins, basking sharks, seals and much more.

Visit the beautiful sub tropical gardens at Trebah, Glendurgan and Trelissick, or discover many National Trust and English Heritage properties including Pendennis Castle with its twin St Mawes Castle across the estuary.

The area is perfect for exploring south Cornwall, the stunning coves and pretty villages on the Lizard Peninsula, and the rugged north coast, popular with surfers. Shops and pub 2 miles, restaurant 1 mile.
