Blue Skies offers the perfect getaway for family and friends alike. Built in in 2023, this semi-detached property is set within the picturesque hamlet of Sageston, near the meandering Carew River and within walking distance of the village pub for some home cooked lunch or an evening meal.
This beautifully presented property is spread over one level and is set peacefully on a cul-de-sac of similar residential properties. This warming holiday home has been furnished beautifully throughout and boasts a well-equipped modern kitchen, complete with everything you need to cook a delicious meal. The light and airy open-plan dining and living room enjoys French doors that lead out the patio and enclosed lawned garden. This south-facing garden is a real sun trap and perfect to enjoy a glass of wine. Both bedrooms have been lovingly furnished, with the master suite boasting a super kingsize bed and TV.
The historic Carew Castle and Tidal Mill is within a 20-minute walk of the property. The castle has a history spanning 2000 years, and is situated overlooking the 23-acre, majestic mill pond with its restored tidal mill, which is one of only five in the UK. Located around a 10-minute drive away is Tenby, where you can stroll through the arches of the walled town and meander through the narrow-cobbled streets to explore the delights of the many craft, gift and coffee shops. Wander down to the harbour where you can enjoy fresh fish and chips, or you can board one of the many boat trips to Caldey Island and see the Cistercian monks.
For beach lovers, Manorbier is a 5-minute drive away, also with a castle. Further around this stunning coastline, you will come across Tenby and then onto the harbour town of Saundersfoot, where line caught fish are always a speciality dish in the plethora of gourmet restaurants overlooking the coast. Locally, Pembrokeshire offers Oakwood Theme Park, Folly Farm Zoo and Heatherton World of Adventures, all within a 15-minute drive. Restaurant within ½. Beach 5¾ miles.
