Chestnut Cottage has three bedrooms, one with super kingsize bed and en-suite facilities, one with kingsize bed and one with twin beds. There is also an opulent family bathroom with under floor heating. With 60 miles of coastline you are spoilt for choice of beaches on the island. However, Brook Bay (just a few hundred yards away from the cottage) is a beautiful sandy beach untouched by development and rich in fossils, a fantastic place to start, and also boasts the most beautiful sunsets.
The Brook Farmhouse stable block has been lovingly converted into four spacious holiday cottages, combining elegance and warmth. They are a perfect base to relax, unwind and explore this unique corner of the Isle of Wight. With many attractions, countryside and seaside resorts, there is definitely something for everyone. If you want to stay local, the beautiful Brook Bay is a 2-minute drive away and the sunsets on this side of the island are a must see, just stunning.
Osborne House was once Queen Victoria’s favourite residence and is now open to the public and well worth a visit, as are Carisbrook Castle, The Needles rock formations, Robin Hill park with acres of parkland, natural woodland, countryside gardens, adventures and special events, Ventnor Botanical Gardens and Shanklin Chine, a deep wooded gorge with streams and waterfalls. The model village at Godshill is also not to be missed as this gives a good overview of the island and its attractions, all in miniature of course.
These properties can be booked together for larger groups.
