Dating back to Roman times, Menston is on the ancient Roman Road that linked York with the garrison at Ribchester. Nowadays you will find the village dotted with a selection of local shops and country pub. Nearby you will find the picturesque market town of Ilkley with an abundance of restaurants, pubs, pavement cafés and independent shops that can all be easily reached; as can legendary Bettys Cafe Tea Rooms where afternoon tea is a must.
