The Manse was fully renovated in 2021, it was stripped back to its original 19th century features and transformed from floor-to-ceiling with new fittings, furniture, and appliances. A luxurious country getaway that provides a stylish base from which to explore the spectacular countryside of the 3,000-acre Broughton Sanctuary. Entering through the front gable, you’ll discover a beautiful, hand-painted kitchen containing all the necessities. The adjacent orangery is another new addition, designed to make the most of the rolling country views. It overlooks the walled kitchen garden too, which has raised flower beds containing herbs and medicinal plants. The cosy living room is a plush haven where you can unwind after a day of activities, and there’s a separate, quiet study just down the hall. Upstairs, each of the bright bedrooms has country views, an original feature fireplace, and its own en-suite shower or bathroom. As part of your stay, you’ll have free, exclusive access to England’s largest rewilding estate. So, you can spend time together in nature, wandering ancient woodlands, cycling moorland trails, or enjoying picnics by the riverside. It’s a country getaway like no other.
