Just five minutes from Port Eynon Beach and the lively village, it’s set within a peaceful holiday park surrounded by bungalows, creating a safe environment for children to play. The property features a quiet, enclosed back garden, sunlit all day, perfect for dining or relaxing with a drink. With ample seating, it’s an ideal spot for breakfast or evening drinks. At the front, a lovely patio offers views of the sea and the hills, bordered by beautiful flowers.
Inside, the bungalow includes two comfortable bedrooms, a kingsize bed in one and a double bed in the other, both overlooking the tranquil back garden. The spacious living room offers two large settees, one of which converts to a sofa bed for extra sleeping space. There’s also a dining table, a TV with streaming options, and a fully equipped kitchen with all the modern appliances the designated chef will need. On-site laundry facilities are available close by.
The Gower Peninsula, designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, boasts dramatic coastlines, sandy beaches, and scenic hills, making it a must-visit for nature lovers. The bungalow is a short walk from Port Eynon Beach, ideal for sunbathing, rock pooling, and water sports, with lifeguarded in attendance during the main season. The beach seamlessly connects to Horton Beach, and the quickest access is via a boardwalk directly opposite one of the site entrances to the bungalow. Port Eynon village offers two pubs/restaurants, a surf shop, ice cream parlors, and two takeaway fish and chips restaurants. For gin lovers, the Gower Gin Company provides tasting experiences inspired by local flavours. The area is also home to Gower Chocolates, handmade in Horton.
Explore further along the coast to Rhossili, visit Worm’s Head a national trust area, where if you catch the tide correctly you can walk out onto the worm. For foodies, you can enjoy fine dining at Oxwich’s Michelin-starred restaurant the Beach House, there are an abundance of pub/restaurants easily accessible by car. A short drive leads to Mumbles, where Catherine Zeta Jones grew up and still has a home there. The village has lots of individual shops and restaurants along with the esplanade, and ice cream parlors. Swansea is a short drive from Mumbles where you can see the Waterside museum, the Marina and the LC2 with its wave producing swimming pool. To the West of Swansea is the Wetlands and the Botanical Gardens.
