The property is within close proximity to a touring caravan park which is open Easter to mid October. During these times, access is through the park entrance, other times it will be through the farm entrance.
Bwthyn Glanllyn is a great base for families to enjoy all that North Wales has to offer. Occupants of Bwthyn Glanllyn can enjoy direct access to Bala Lake and all its enjoyment, so its a perfect location for water sports enthusiasts. It’s great for canoeing/kayaking, windsurfing, sailing and paddle boarding. White water rafting can also be found 5 miles away. With the property being set within the Snowdonia National Park, there are walks aplenty surrounding the cottage. For mountain biking, Coed y Brenin is just 30 minutes away.
The town of Bala is situated just 3 miles away and boasts a good range of shops and restaurants, including various takeaways that guests can make use of during their stay. There is a direct cycle/footpath from the property straight into Bala town.
