Just a stone’s throw away are welcoming pubs and cafés. There are two popular pubs within a few minutes’ walk too, with regular live music and themed food nights. For groceries, you will find a well-stocked convenience store situated on Harbour Road which offers everything from newspapers to fresh bread, you can find all the essentials here. For larger shops, Seahouses is a 4-minute drive, and Alnwick is 24 minutes with major supermarkets.
Out and about, there are a variety of beautiful coastal walks and cycle trails up through Seahouses and Bamburgh, and down towards Newton-by-the-Sea, Embleton and Craster.
