Outside in the garden you can enjoy al fresco dining or a cold glass of wine before taking a dip in the hot tub after a bust day of exploration. Haystack Haven is in the heart of a working farm, you will be close to farm animals and may see the farmer roaming the grounds throughout the day plus the owners live and work on site and are always on hand should you need anything. There are walks from your doorstep and make sure to pack your bike to take advantage of the national cycle route nearby.
Hope Valley is located in the Peak District National Park where you can find where you can find restaurants, cosy pubs and the garden centre with café, pass through Hope to Edale or Castleton where you can explore the caves or the Great Ridge walk. Other towns nearby include Buxton where you can pass an evening watching a fantastic show in the Opera House, a stroll around the Pavilion Gardens or taking in its heritage buildings such as the Crescent.
Take a bite of a Bakewell pudding or tart when you visit Bakewell, the river Derwent passes through and makes for a lovely stroll. Be sure to visit the stately home of the Duke and Dutchess of Devonshire, Chatsworth House, this building is beautiful from the inside out, always having a theme to its décor, you can walk through the house, visit the gardens or just an amble around the grounds taking in the views.
