Welcome to Castle View Cottage, a delightful and charming two-bedroom retreat, nestled in Dunstaffnage Bay; the original part of the old Dunstaffnage village, now called Dunbeg.

The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need for to prepare a hearty breakfast or tasty evening meal. The bedrooms boast duck and feather down bedding to get a great night’s sleep after days of exploring. Outside enjoy peaceful front, back, and side gardens, where the gentle music of birdsong accompanies your relaxation.
The village shop is just a few minutes’ away. Dunstaffnage Marina is a few minutes in the opposite direction, a little further along, you’ll find Poppies Restaurant Garden Centre. The Ocean Explorer Centre, part of the Scottish Association for Marine Science, is located on the opposite shoreline, as well as the historic Dunstaffnage Castle, one of Scotland’s oldest stone castles dating back to the 1200s which boasts a rich history of battles and royal intrigue, from the sieges of Robert the Bruce to the haunting tales of the "Green Lady." The castle’s chapel is steeped in a dramatic true tale which adds to the allure of this historic site.
Located just a short car or bus ride away, the bustling seaside town of Oban; the Gateway to the Highlands and Islands offers attractions such as MaCaig’s Tower, Dunnolie Castle, Ganavan Sands the renowned Oban Distillery and daily boat trips to the Hebridean Islands. The northwest coast of Scotland, with its myths, legends and breathtaking landscapes, makes Castle View Cottage the perfect base for exploring the area. Enjoy leisurely strolls along the seashore or simply relax on the patio with a locally distilled Oban whisky while admiring the panoramic views and captivating wildlife.
