Caws Cottage is set within the owner’s working dairy farm at the award-winning Caws Cenarth Cheese, within the rolling Welsh countryside and near the picturesque village of Cenarth which is the perfect touring location as its central for Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire. Cenarth is famous for Cenarth Falls, where you will find a cascade of waterfalls and pools on the River Teifi and a well-known salmon leap. For all those cheese lovers, the owners offer an exclusive behind the scenes tour of an artisan cheese making dairy, which is not available to the general public. The master cheese makers will give an in-depth explanation of how raw milk transforms into wonderfully delicious cheeses (available for week bookings and the tour can take up to 1hour, and is subject to specific days of cheesemaking).
