Chesil View House offers stylish accommodation that was originally a fisherman’s cottage in the beautiful village of Fortuneswell, nestled amongst the hills of Portland.
Internally the property is furnished to a high standard with spectacular views from the top of the house of Chesil Beach, Lyme Bay and Verne Hill. Externally the furnished patio is perfect for alfresco dining or simply relaxing after a busy day.
Portland Harbour is a short drive away and offers some of the finest small boat sailing waters in Northern Europe. This location was the official venue for the Olympic sailing events in 2012. Portland also boasts Chesil Beach, an impressive 18 mile long shingle beach.
There is a good selection of pubs, restaurants and takeaways within walking distance, however, for a greater selection of amenities and attractions, the traditional seaside town of Weymouth can be reached within a 15 minute drive. Weymouth boasts a large expanse of golden sand, complete with Punch and Judy show and donkey rides in the summer. In Weymouth you will also find an abundance of shops, restaurants and cafes to enjoy as well as numerous attractions such as The Sea Life Park and Marine Sanctuary.
