Ogmore-by-Sea is only 10 minute drive and seaside town of Porthcawl is only 12 minutes. For a day out, Cowbridge is a local market town with a boutique high street and array of independent restaurants and bars, or Penarth is a bustling seaside town worth visiting. For exploring further afield, Chestnut House is ideally situated with great access to the M4 motorway and in under 90 minutes you could drive to the Brecon Beacons for breath-taking mountain views, hills to hike and waterfall walks to enjoy. Or 90 minutes west is Tenby, the most popular seaside town in South Wales. Beach 5 miles.
