Boasting three bedrooms, a living room with comfy sofas and an electric fire, perfect to snuggle besides during any cooler evenings, secondary snug with single sofa bed being the walk through to the conservatory with dining room table, perfect for family meals and playing games, whilst enjoying views across the garden. There is a well equipped kitchen, great for dining at home, but don’t worry, there are plenty of eateries locally and a pub in the village serving good food, 7 minutes’ walk away.
Ormesby St Margaret is a quiet village and is located close to the east coast beaches and within The Broads National Park, so you have best of both worlds on your doorstep. An ideal location for walkers, cyclists and nature lovers. Nearby routes include the Weavers Way and the National Cycle route 30 that runs along the coast. Beautiful sandy beaches include Scratby, Hemsby, and Winterton-on-Sea all within 3 miles’ drive. At Horsey beach you can visit the resident seal colony when visiting in the winter, be sure to spot the seal pups too.
Caister Castle ruins and the Motor Museum are found within 3 miles. The Broads National Park has 125 miles of waterways to explore, seek out the Canoe Man to explore some of the quieter reaches of the river systems. Filby Broad, 3 miles, for fishing and rowing boat hire. Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens, 3.5 miles, and offers a unique view of its Asian animal inhabitants on raised walkways.
