The ever-popular Bakewell and Hathersage in the heart of the Hope Valley are also around 20 minutes and the beautiful honeypot village of Castleton and wonderfully historic plague village of Eyam are around half an hour. Matlock, with its cable car ride to the Heights of Abraham is also around 30 minutes, Edale, home to the start/finish of the Pennine Way and the spa town of Buxton can be reached in 45 minutes.
