Ventnor is also home to the botanic gardens which lie at the heart of a remarkable microclimate. Surrounded by the chalk downs of the Ventnor Undercliff, the garden boasts an impressive collection of rare and exotic plants and trees.
Nearby are Shanklin and Sandown with their fabulous sandy beaches, plus gorgeous waters to dip your toes in. For the more adventurous type, there are many water sports activities to enjoy.
