This superb stone built, Grade II listed, terraced weavers cottage can be found just 5 minutes from bohemian town of Hebden Bridge, in the rural hillside village of Old Town. The location is stunning and far reaching countryside views are offered from each and every window over glorious West Yorkshire countryside. Inside, the cottage has retained immense character and charm with exposed stonework and mullioned windows, and for cosy winter evenings, a wood burner takes pride of place in the living room.
Hebden Bridge offers a superb selection of independent pubs, restaurants, cafés and shops. Winner of the 2016 Small Market Town award. Renowned for being creative and bohemian, the attractive streets with many independent shops are perfect for simply wandering and enjoying the sights. For outdoor enthusiasts, Hebden Bridge was the UK’s first ‘Walkers are Welcome’ town. Excellent walking is available in the area with the Pennine Way close by, as well as the National Trust owned Hardcastle Crags. Hebden Bridge is home to a delightful Victorian railway station which offers direct links to both Manchester and Leeds, as well as other Calderdale towns. Both the Peak District and Yorkshire Dales National Parks can be reached in under and hour, and Howarth, once home to the famous Bronte family, is a scenic 20-minute drive away. Shop and café 500 yards, pub and restaurant ½ mile.
