The ground floor comprises two beautifully furnished double bedrooms. A seating area with lovely views of the countryside can be accessed directly from each room through patio doors. The bathroom, also on the ground floor boasts underfloor heating, a roll top bath and a walk in shower. To take advantage of the stunning views of the surrounding countryside, the stylish kitchen with all modern conveniences plus a large central island, is located on the first floor. Also on the first floor is a spacious living room with comfy leather sofas, a gas fire and Smart TV. To make the most of your stay, there is an abundance of literature, books and maps about the local area. There is an open plan dining area with a dining table and chairs next to the living room and kitchen.
Coomb View Barn has access to a private patio area with table and chairs to enjoy outdoor living and picturesque views. You can likewise enjoy the dark night skies without an urban glow. A barbecue is also provided so that guests can dine al fresco on summer evenings. Adjacent to the property is a large open lawn and country garden complete with private parking for two cars. Guests also have access to explore the farmland and footpaths beyond. This property offers peace and tranquility for a relaxing break after a busy day of sightseeing and activities that both the Lake District and Yorkshire National Park has to offer with easy access to the lakes, mountains and the market towns of kendal and sedbergh. Kendal has an abundance of well-known high street brands mixed with several independent retailers, coffee shops, cafés, delis, bars and restaurants. Kendal is an old market town famous for its annual Mountain Festival and Mint Cake, the first energy bar produced over 100 years ago. The attractive old market town of Sedbergh, with its old-world atmosphere, is a short distance away, England’s official book town and a lovely spot to visit if you enjoy walking and cycling. Windermere and Ambleside can be reached in under 30 minutes by car. Being situated between the Lakes and the Dales means you will never be short of things to do.
