Coopers Cottage is the perfect terraced holiday home for visiting the Lakes. It is perfectly situated near to the main road for getting out and about but far enough away that you hear nothing but the wind in the trees and the birds singing. The cottage has been beautifully restored to a good standard making your stay comfortable. With the multi-fuel burner in the living area and the underfloor heating, you can be toasty warm on those cold winters’ evenings and in the summer you can sit out on the patio offering generous views and access to the paddock. The cottage was once a thriving gunpowder works dating back to 1798 and part of Low Wood Mill gunpowder works located on the estuary with access to the sea, now only the cottages and the clock tower survives today as a reminder of the past. Beach 5 miles. Shop 4 miles, pub and restaurant 530 yards.
