Step into this gorgeous little holiday home and forget about the stresses of modern life. This is a delightful two bedroom cottage set on one floor with marvellous views over the rolling countryside towards the popular market town of Crieff, in the heart of beautiful Perthshire. Furnished with care and style, with contemporary tartans and tweeds. The soothing colours coupled with a cosy wood burner in the living area, positively encourage staying in. However, you won’t want to do that with all that Perthshire has to offer-there is a plethora of activities and attractions both close by and further afield. The cottage is situated a couple of fields away from the owner’s farm, and knowledgeable and interesting guided tours can be arranged directly with the owner.
Crieff itself is just a mile away and is very accessible either by car, bike, or walking. With a large selection of restaurants, coffee shops and high-quality independent retailers, you can spend a pleasant morning or afternoon just browsing round. Whisky lovers can visit the Glenturret Distillery on the outskirts of Crieff for an excellent introduction into the art of whisky- making, while for walkers there are extensive country walks (The Crieff Core Path network runs right through the farm, offering access to many miles of walks and trails). Excellent golf, fishing and horse riding are also all available locally. Crieff Visitor Centre with its Highland Drovers Exhibition, pottery workshop and restaurant is within an easy walk from the cottage, whilst for a good family day out visit Auchingarrich Wildlife Centre at Comrie, just a few miles away.
