Tucked away in a peaceful part of Inverness, Courtyard Cottage is a perfect bolthole for a holiday in the city and wider Scottish Highlands. Offering spacious accommodation, and furnished to a high standard, in Courtyard Cottage you’ll find a large, comfortable living/dining room, spacious double bedroom and well finished kitchen and bathroom. Just over ¾ of a mile to Inverness Castle, and the same distance to the lovely River Ness. Inverness Golf Club is even closer and the lovely, historic Crown area of the city with its pubs, cafés and wee shops is only half a mile.
You can walk everywhere in this lovely little city, and enjoy a fantastic city break. However, Inverness has more to offer as it’s the gateway to the Scottish Highlands. And if you’re on holiday in the Highlands with an appetite for adventure, being based in the city is an excellent choice. It means you can go in any direction from the city, as all roads up in the north lead to Inverness, and have a different part of this fascinating region to explore. Courtyard Cottage offers an excellent base from which to explore the north, east, south and west Highlands. The NC500 is to the north and west. East you’ll find beaches, the lovely Black Isle and the resident pod of dolphins in the Moray Firth! South are the magnificent Cairngorm Mountains with ski stations and hiking trails. And to the west mysterious Loch Ness is just beyond the city limits and it marks the beginning of a Highland and island journey to the likes of Skye.
