Entering through the front door there’s a vestibule area before entering the open-plan kitchen/dining room. It’s an amazing space and the kitchen is simply stunning with an amazing breakfast bar separating the spaces. Before going up to the first floor, the bathroom on the ground floor is stunning and hosts a lovely free-standing bath. Up to the first floor, there’s a landing sitting area with amazing floor to ceiling windows, it’s a perfect place for cosying up and reading a few books during your stay. There are two kingsize bedrooms with ensuite shower rooms.
Thirty seconds from the cottage is Inverness Cathedral, forty seconds the mighty River Ness, down which all the water from Loch Ness flows, and a minute away you’re at the main bridge in the centre of the city with restaurants, bars, cafes - everything you want all around you. Not only is it perfect for a city break, but you can use Rose Cottage and Inverness as your base for a longer stay. Why try other places to stay when you can pick Rose Cottage and have the highest standard of accommodation for the duration of your holiday. Inverness is well placed for guests of the cottage to explore in a different direction from the city each day and see different sides of the Highlands. Follow the NC500 to the north on day, head out east onto the Black Isle or along the Moray coastline on another, definitely go south into the Cairngorms National Park one of your days, and then Loch Ness is only fifteen minutes’ drive away to the west coast. The Highlands is on your doorstep when staying at Rose Cottage in Inverness.
