Here in the heart of Craik Forest, you can do just that! if you’re in the mood, then flick the switch and you’ll be tech free, since there is no phone signal here in Craik. That said, with another flick of the switch, the high speed Wi-Fi is back on and you’re connected to the world again. Just 12 miles from the border town of Hawick you will have the happy balance of not being away from it all but not cut off - and there are local shops are nearby in most of the smaller villages.
