Cranberry Cottage is packed with charm and has been decorated and furnished by its owners with great care and love.
It boasts spacious, beamed bedrooms on the first floor and three bathrooms, one of which is on the ground floor to compliment the ground floor bedroom. There are also two cosy living rooms, one of which has a wood-burning stove and a separate dining room, which means there are lots of spaces in which you can relax and unwind.
Sitting pretty on the village green with its picturesque pond and resident ducks, you will be tempted to grab that book you have been meaning to read and stay put. Venture a little further however, and you will find yourself just six miles from the beautiful seaside town of Wells-next-the-Sea with its wide sandy beach, painted beach huts, and much-photographed quay, where you can sit and admire the view while eating some of the best fish and chips in Norfolk. Here you will also find lots of great places to eat, shop, and drink although the whole of this part of Norfolk is just packed with great foodie-finds, many of which serve local produce.
Coast lovers will find an array of beach habitats including wide sand and shingle beaches, rolling sand dunes, clay and salt marshes, and lovely quays with boats bobbing on the tide. Head to Hunstanton and enjoy lots of traditional seaside attractions. Or go to Blakeney for a spot of crab-lining or take a seasonal boat trip to see the seals. Make time to visit the stunning Blickling, Holkham, Houghton, and Sandringham Estates, and do visit the old Hanseatic Quarter of Kings Lynn too.
There really is just so much to see and do that you will doubtlessly be back just to fit it all in. And when you do, you are sure to book lovely Cranberry Cottage again, having fallen in love with it on your first visit. Just the ticket for a great break.
