Crovie Cottage is situated in the heart of the unique fishing village of Crovie. Perched on a narrow ledge at the base of the Gamrie Bay cliffs, this historic preservation village is the epitome of unspoilt seaside locations. The only village in Britain where it is impossible to use a car (visitors park at the far end of the village and walk the few yards along the sea front). It offers a unique and utterly charming seaside holiday experience.
Crovie Cottage has been completely gutted and redecorated throughout. This delightful fishing cottage provides a very high standard of accommodation just yards from the sea. The cottage door opens onto the open plan living area, with original flagstone flooring and a large welcoming wood burning stove at the far end. Divided by a low wall, the kitchen has been beautifully built, with Belfast sink, integrated units and in the adjoining alcove a solid wood dining table with wooden bench pews. The steep cottage stairs lead up to two pretty bedrooms, accommodating up to 5 people. There is a superb modern wet room on the ground floor. There is a bench outside the property overlooking the sea which is immediately below the wall. Stunning views across the bay with pier on one side and shingle beach in foreground with hills in the distance.
