Located in the beautiful area of Bembridge on the eastern coast of the island overlooking Whitecliff Bay, Culver Chalet can accommodate up to six guests and is perfectly positioned for those seeking a tranquil retreat away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Positioned just beneath the National Trust owned Culver Down, take a short walk along the nearby coastal footpath to experience dramatic chalk cliffs with acres of open downland and sweeping coastal views, both to the south over Sandown and Shanklin, and the north over Bembridge Harbour, the Solent and the Spinnaker Tower. The surrounding rural and coastal location offers excellent opportunities for watching sea-birds hug the coast, and for spotting birds such as kestrels and peregrines that hunt along the cliffs.
The kitchen is fully fitted with all modern appliances including a wine chiller, whilst the living room and dining room at the front of the property offer bright rooms with views across the English Channel. After a busy day exploring the stunning area, return to Culver Chalet and relax in the hot tub before retiring to one of the three comfortable bedrooms.
Bembridge is a charming village, voted village of the year by BBC TVs Countryfile programme 2019 based on its ’wonderful coastal setting with a pier and lifeboat station, plus a busy village community with independent shops, cafés and restaurants’. It is the home to the National Trust’s Bembridge Windmill and it also has two great beaches perfect for the simple pleasures of building sandcastles, sunbathing, exploring rock pools and crabbing. Beach ¼ mile. Shop ¼ mile, pub and restaurant ¾ mile.
