This lovely detached property is in the heart of Mid Wales, surrounded by rolling hills in a rural location with a private driveway and gardens which surround the property. There is plenty to do in this area, and a visit to the Elan Valley is a must as the scenery is just simply stunning, with forested areas, waterfalls and Victorian dams, great for walkers, cyclists and bikers. The Red Kite feeding and rehabilitation centre is not far from the property, and the sheep dogs put on a great show moving the cattle and sheep from the fields before feeding starts. The Gilfach Nature Reserve is a fabulous place to take a walk with its small rapids and waterfalls.

It is just 2 miles from the busy market town of LLanidloes with numerous restaurants and cafés. Llanidloes is on the river Severn, and a walk in the Hafren Forest and to the source of the river or a viewing of osprey on Llyn Clywedog makes a great trip. The town of Rhayader also has plenty of restaurants and coffee shops, local amenities and stores. For those wanting to travel further afield, then the market town of Builth Wells is 9 miles away and home to the Royal Welsh Showground, which hosts multiple events throughout the year. The spa town of Llandrindod Wells is 12 miles from the property and hosts a great golf course and lots of open country parks. The Brecon Beacons National Park is 35 miles from the property for those more adventurous, where a day climbing Pen Y Fan is a must, with panoramic views.
