A short drive takes you to the more popular seaside towns of New Quay and Llangrannog which offer a wide selection of pubs, cafes, restaurants, shops, and activities. Boat trips are regularly made from here in search of the majestic Cardigan Bay dolphins. The cottage is well placed to visit a plethora of Welsh wilderness from the lesser-known Preseli Hills and Cambrian Mountains to the dramatic Snowdonia National Park - these are some of the UK’s best-preserved natural landscapes. Or simply amble around the coast path on your doorstep, with dramatic cliffs and secluded beaches to explore. This part of Wales is also famous for its variety of outdoor activities with anything from paragliding and kayaking to horse riding and mountain biking found here.
The extensive grounds of the cottage estate are great for exploring, while the heated outdoor pool, tennis court provide activities for all the family. Along the countryside, trails discover picnic benches, bird boxes, donkeys, sheep, goats, chickens, ducks, rabbits, and guinea pigs!
